Description: "You are invited to visit The Public Kindergarten which was established in 1915. At first the Public Kindergarten was financed entirely by contributions, as we wanted it a free kindergarten. We still want it free, but find it impossible to get money enough to finance, so we charge each child 50¢ a week. Scholarships will be provided for those unable to
pay. Although our rent and equipment are given us by St. John's Church, we still have to have some help. We hope sometime to become part of the Public School System."
