Compensation / Expenses:
The total first year cost for this contract is $#,###.## and includes standard monthly web site maintenance. This contract may be renewed at the end of the first year for an annual payment of $###.##

Web Site Specifications:

  • This website (http://www.owner-web-site.com) will contain a maximum of ten (10) pages.
  • The content of the web pages will be supplied by the Owner.
  • In case the Owner desires additional standard web pages beyond the original number of pages specified above, the Owner agrees to pay Designer an additional $50.00 for each additional webpage.
  • E-mail/phone consultation. Up to 2 hours total general Internet orientation education, marketing strategy, Web design consultation.
  • Designer will set up all email accounts on Owners server. Owner is responsible for email set up on their personal computer.
  • Words of text supplied by the Owner (200 words per page approximate maximum if not supplied via diskette or email.) Web pages of more than 1,200 words of text may be subject to additional fees, especially if they require a great deal of formatting.
  • Links to external pages, up to an average of 2.5 per page.
  • Photos and other misc. graphic images supplied by Owner (up to an average of 1.4 included per page in standard websites).
  • Installation of web pages on the Owner's web hosting service.
  • If the Owner or an agent other than Designer attempts updating the Owner's pages, time to repair web pages will be assessed at our standard hourly rate ($65.00 per hour, two hour minimum, one hour increments thereafter), and is not included as part of your maintenance agreement.
  • Estimated Completion Date: We will expend all effort to complete your website within ten (10) days after receipt of all information.
  • This contract DOES NOT include web site hosting services. These services are contracted for and maintained separately by the Owner.

Monthly Maintenance: All contracts enter the Standard Monthly Maintenance segment after Site Acceptance by the Owner. Designer's Standard Monthly Maintenance includes reviewing Owner's web site monthly, documenting this review via email, suggesting improvements and/or additions and making minor site updates. This includes updating links and making minor changes to a sentence or paragraph. It does not including removing nearly all the text from a page and replacing it with new text and is limited to a maximum of two (2) hours per month. YOU MAY NOT ACCUMULATE STANDARD MONTHLY MAINTENANCE HOURS --- USE IT OR LOSE IT. Extra maintenance hours may be purchased at your contract rate of $50.00 per hour, one (1) hour minimum, 15 minute increments thereafter. All images and/or text for these updates will be provided in electronic format (email or disk) by the Owner.
End Monthly Maintenance
Contract Renewal: Ninety (90) days prior to contract expiration, Designer will offer the Owner the option to renew their contract. The renewal amount, if exercised prior to contract expiration, will be $###.## per year. This amount will be reevaluated every 12 months and is subject to a maximum increase of 20%.
